The medical issues are explained clearly for the typical non-medical reader. It's a pleasure to read about this person from my childhood. If you appreciate Jonas Salk and what he did, I'd recommend this book.Through striking black-and-white images and rich color photographs, readers will learn about Salk's family background, childhood, education, groundbreaking.
